Station 25 is starting the
year off right with 2 of our
own doing well on the
Captain's exam that was just
given. E/O Ponte on the C
Shift and E/O Taylor on the D
Shift both scored very well.
Congratulations to both of
you.
We finally got our own
software so we can update the
web site a lot faster now.
Thank you for your patience as
we have tried to make this

The members of Station 25
would like to take this time
to remember the families of Capt. Burke,
F/F Mayo and F/F Smith. On
Feb. 14, 2000 the Houston Fire
Dept. lost F/F Mayo
and F/F Smith at a
McDonalds restaurant fire.
Capt Grady Burke died in the
line of duty at a house fire
on Feb. 19, 2005. They may be gone but
NEVER forgotten.

Family, friends and members
of District 46 met at Sta. 46
Sunday afternoon to dedicate
the Grady Burke Garden built
at Sta. 46 by the members. The
Fire Chief along with other
dignitaries attended. Capt.
Burke will always be
remembered by all. Check out
Sta. 46's web site for
pictures. Good job men.
Feb. 21
Congratulations to Capt.
Campbell on the A Shift and
Capt. Kamman on the C Shift
for doing very well on the
Senior Captain's Exam.
Feb. 21
Station 25 has had several
fires in the last couple of
weeks. One of the fires was on
the C Shift, they were
first in on a house fire with
a exposure problem on Sampson.
Engine 25 along with E 7 and
18 ended up having 2 houses
and a hair salon involved.
District 8 called for extra
taps. No one was injured.
March 28
We have
been having some trouble with
our Guest Book link and have
temporarily taken it off line.
We hope to get it back up and
running soon.
Station 25 has
been making some fires, but not
as many as usual. Station 25 has
been involved in several
Community Interaction activities
ands will have updated pictures
soon.
April 13
Congratulations to newly
promoted Captain Taylor he is
reassigned to Sta. 55D and E/O/E
Michalsky he is reassigned to
Sta. 2C. Good luck on your new
positions.

The
web master has been having
computer troubles and has been
unable to update the site
lately. Hopefully we have the
new bugs worked out.

Let me catch up on some old
and new news...........
Station 25 is going through some
transformation personnel wise.
Capt Kamman on the C- Shift
has been promoted to Sr. Capt.
and is assigned to station 28C.
Congratulations! It is not
clear who the new Captain will
be on the C-Shift... but the
list is pretty short.
Capt. Campbell on the A- Shift
should be promoted very soon.
The D- Shift has a newly
promoted Captain. Captain
Swanson comes to Sta. 25 from
Sta. 74. WELCOME!
